Voice, Strings, and Winds
divisions:
Students will perform in a closed
audition. The judge will allow 10
minutes performance time and may offer suggestions and comments if time
permits. Students will receive written
comments.
Piano master class division only:
Students will perform in an open
audition setting. In each 20 minute
audition, the judge will allow 10 minutes performance time and 10 minutes to
work with each student, offering positive suggestions and comments. Interested observers are invited to sit in
and listen. Winners will be determined
at the end of the day based on students’ initial performances. Students will receive written comments.
For all students: Ten minutes of time in a warm-up room will be
allocated to each student not more than one half hour before the scheduled
audition time. Students may choose to use the assigned time or not as they
prefer.

Registration Fee: $25 for each division entered
Winners will be
announced to students by e-mail on Sunday, February 8.
Comment sheets will be
mailed the week following the competition.
A Winners
Recital will be held Sunday, February 15 at 2 pm at First Presbyterian Church.
