Camp Scholarship
The Rochester Music Guild will award up to $1500 each in Camp Scholarship(s) for a serious, talented music student(s) to attend a music camp to further his or her musical development. The Camp Scholarship is used for a special music education project such as summer camp, workshop, music festival, or similar. Applicants must be in grades 10-12 (Senior Division). The costs of on-going lessons, on-going school tuition, and travel expenses are not supported by the Camp Scholarship awards.
Students in the Senior Division (grades 10-12) from all musical backgrounds (piano, strings, brass, woodwinds, voice) are encouraged to apply. Students must complete the Rochester Music Guild Scholarship Competition application and a separate Camp Scholarship application and two Recommendations.
The Camp Scholarship winner is chosen from the Senior Division finalists.
