2024 Community Grants
The Board of the Rochester Music Guild has again authorized limited funds to offer grants up to $500 to area nonprofit musical organizations who wish to apply.
Our purpose in granting these funds is to extend support and advocacy within the broader musical arts community. Grant requests will be evaluated based primarily on community impact in promoting music appreciation through education and performance.
An application form must be submitted by the application deadline of June 3, 2024. The RMG Board reviews these applications and expects to notify recipients in July. Any questions can be directed to rochestermusicguild@gmail.com.
Requirements:
- Grants may not be used for employee salaries or benefits.
- Detailed information about the amount, budget, and purpose of the grant request should be included.
- Recognition of the Rochester Music Guild’s support is required in promotion, publicity or programs regarding the event(s) or activity for which the grant funds are used.
- A follow-up report should be sent within 30 days of completing the activity or event(s) for which the grant money was used.
