A Musical Homecoming  

In 2014, the Guild celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a weekend of events: Presidents’ Reception, Annual Luncheon and Meeting, and a Concert featuring past Scholarship winners. The 50th Anniversary Concert on June 7, 2014 at Christ United Methodist Church was offered as a gift to the community during its 50th Year. Musicians from coast to coast returned to perform. Now professionals in a variety of fields, the former Guild scholarship winners say the Guild encouraged them to enjoy music for life.

In conjunction with the 50th Anniversary celebration, the Rochester Music Guild set a goal to raise $50,000 to add to the Scholarship Endowment Funds in order to ensure these funds are self-sustaining. Thanks to the many generous donors, we exceeded our goal with over $60,000 in donations!
